A New Chapter Sets Sail – Grand Opening of JTM’s New Facility
On December 6, 2025, Jet-Tern Marine marked a historic milestone in its development. Owners and dealers from 14 countries—more than 50 overseas guests in total—gathered in Zhuhai, China to celebrate the grand opening of the brand-new facility.

Construction of the 38,800-square-meter facility began in January 2024 and was completed after 20 months of intensive work. The project reached successful completion at the end of 2025, with the opening ceremony held on this memorable day. This new facility features 5 production lines and is capable of building up to 30 yachts simultaneously. It includes newly upgraded FRP lamination area, painting booth, offices, and a spacious central plaza. Along with a significant increase in production capacity, the facility also represents a major upgrade in manufacturing equipment and overall capabilities.

The opening ceremony was attended by more than 50 owners and dealers from different countries, like USA, Canada, Russia, France, England, Australia, New Zealand, Cyprus, Spain, Greece, German, Philippine, Slovenia and China, representatives from various media, government officials, and the entire JTM team, creating a truly grand and festive atmosphere. During the ceremony, Eugene, Howard, and Wayne delivered inspiring speeches, reflecting on JTM’s journey, sharing their vision for the future, and expressing sincere gratitude to owners, partners, and all the staff who did a wonderful job for their long-standing support.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was highlighted by a surprise Chinese traditional lion dance performance. Accompanied by the sound of drums, the celebration brought excitement to the event and symbolized prosperity, good fortune, and continued success.

Following the ceremony, a yacht parade further energized the audience. Three yachts soon to be delivered—Selene 4946, Selene 54118, and Selene 6420—set out on the water and performed a 90-degree turn to salute the grandstand, drawing enthusiastic applause from the guests. Lion dancing on the yachts is a high light of the event.

Guests were also invited to tour the new facility, the new marina, the new office spaces, and Howard’s art gallery, offering an in-depth look at JTM’s enhanced manufacturing strength. Howard presents his beautiful oil paintings in the Selene Gallery, demo some of his talent art works. As the closing highlight of the day’s celebrations, all the guests gathered at the marina to enjoy a buffet dinner under the glow of a red moon, while brilliant fireworks lit up the night sky, bringing the event to a perfect conclusion.

Prior to the opening ceremony, a two-day dealers’ meeting was held, providing valuable discussions on future sales strategies and market planning, and laying a solid foundation for Selene’s next stage of growth. As a token of appreciation, Howard also presented special gifts to the attendees—Selene watches.

After the opening events concluded, the China tour group led by Wayne and Elisabeth departed on journey, together with the chief editor of Passagemaker Magazine Jeff Moser, and the Selene owners. They first stopped in Beijing, followed by Xi’an, before returning home via Hong Kong —further strengthening international connections and cultural understanding. Wayne shared that the journey was an unforgettable highlight of his life. Howard’s companionship along the way made the experience truly special, leaving a lasting and meaningful memory.

We look forward to meeting again next year and continuing this remarkable journey together.
