2019 Commencement
Last Monday, the shipyard restarted its operations after the Chinese New Year break. With a bonfire and crackers, we celebrated altogether the commencement of the year of the Pig in front of Hall A, where is the assembly line with three yachts almost ready for sea trial and another two under completion.
Full steam at the shipyard
It is an important custom to set off firecrackers and fireworks during the Chinese New Year period. A Chinese New Year celebration would not be complete without them, their smell and noise. In Chinese culture, firecrackers were originally used to scare away evil spirits. Today, lighting firecrackers and fireworks is a major tradition to celebrate the coming of the New Year, and a way to enhance the festive atmosphere.
Selene teams are back to work with enthusiasm and energy. Even Lucky, the shipyard’s mascot joined the party…
