A New Selene 56 Classic Explorer Delivered

On August 11th 2025, amidst the sound of firecrackers, Jet-Tern Marine successfully shipped a new 56-foot New Classic Explorer from its dock. After being carefully wrapped in shrink packaging with the Selene logo, Selene 56117 was successfully lifted onto the barge and transported to the port dock.

The Selene 56117 features Awlgrip Royal Blue PU painted hull and light blue bottom paint, giving a fresh and attractive appearance on the sea. Along with stainless steel blue backing light boat name “Barracuda” on both sides and also stern, it gleams brilliantly under the daylight, and when the blue lights are turned on at night, it shines with a dazzling radiance.

Howard, CEO of Jet-Tern Marine, presented an oil painting as a gift to the owner, which was fixed above the staircase leading to the accommodation. A light was installed above, casting a gentle glow downwards, enhancing the warm, nautical atmosphere throughout the entire boat.

Equipped with Twin John Deere 4045AFM85 M2 180HP@2,400RPM engines with ZF 220 gear box with PTO pad; Sidepower SH320 bow and stern thrusts, and hydraulic stabilizer; Onan 13.5KW 50hz 24V generator with extra Onan 6KW 50hz 12V generator; The fully protected skegs provides reassuring safety and stability during navigation. Each side of the flybridge deck is outfitted with an 8-person liferaft, providing a total capacity for 16 people, this ensures maximum backup safety for everyone on board; In addition, the flybridge deck is also features with two wood cradles, one large and one small, to accommodate the tender and jet ski, allowing the owner to enjoy an ultimate experience in the sea.

At cockpit, the three-fold table designed by Howard maximizes space flexibility while allowing easy access to the lazarette from the hatch on floor when unfolded. And the wing door for both sides combined with the three-sided enclosure create a private space that minimizes the impact of wind and waves while the boat is underway. Additionally, in the summer, the air conditioning can be directed into the aft deck area, allowing people to enjoy the sea while also experiencing a comfortable environment.

On the morning of August 24, under a clear blue sky, Selene 56117 was safely lifted onto the larger vessel, ready to set sail for Europe for delivery to the owner. We hope that upon reaching its destination, it will accompany the owner on many joyful and safe voyages.
