A Grand Reunion on the Water: Celebrating the 2026 West Coast Selene Owners Rendezvous

Roche Harbor, WA——Against the stunning backdrop of Washington’s San Juan Islands, the 2026 West Coast Selene Owners Rendezvous unfolded as a spectacular four-day celebration of exploration, community, and timeless craftsmanship.

Hosted at the scenic Roche Harbor, this year’s gathering brought together an impressive fleet of 35 Selene yachts, with owners voyaging from across the U.S. West Coast and Canada to join the festivities.

For many, the event was more than just a rally——it was a heartfelt reunion. Long-time friends and fellow Selene enthusiasts reunited on the docks, sharing stories of their journeys across the world’s most breathtaking waterways.

The atmosphere was one of genuine camaraderie, marked by laughter, hugs, and the shared passion for a brand that embodies the spirit of adventure.

Although Howard Chen, CEO of Selene shipyard, could not attend in person, he made sure to connect with the community he cherishes. In a heartfelt video played during the event, Howard expressed his deep appreciation for the entire Selene family:

Thanks to the SYA Team and all the volunteers for their good efforts to make this great Selene Owner’s Rendezvous so successful. I am missing all Selene owners. The boats are in good condition and well maintained. I hope all Selene owners enjoy your cruising and have a healthy and happy time with family!

Howard also shared a touching moment. His daughter, Arina Chen, attended the rendezvous on his behalf—marking her second Selene gathering. As she looked around the gathering, Arina said with a smile, “The boats and owners look great—very good condition and well maintained. Seems in even better condition than before!” The crowd burst into laughter, filled with warmth and joy. What an amazing moment.

Arina’s presence carried special meaning: from an eight-year-old girl at Friday Harbor to an adult returning to Roche Harbor nearly two decades later, her journey mirrored the enduring bonds that Selene creates—across generations, across waters, and across time. Her attendance, on behalf of her father, symbolized not only family dedication but also the lasting warmth of the Selene owner community.

Indeed, the fleet of 35 vessels was a testament to enduring quality. Each Selene yacht, from seasoned voyagers to newer models, appeared in excellent condition—well-maintained, beautifully presented, and clearly cherished by their owners. The success of the rendezvous would not have been possible without the tireless dedication of the Selene Yachts Americas (SYA) team and a passionate group of volunteers.

As the sun set over Roche Harbor and the masts of the Selenes swayed gently in the evening breeze, it was clear that this gathering was about more than boats—it was about a family bound by a love for exploration.

Born to Explore. Selene for Life.
