Selene Yachts Achieves Major Milestone — Selene 9206 Hull Successfully Released
We are thrilled to share an exciting update from our shipyard: the Selene 92 hull of S9206 has been successfully released. — marking a significant milestone for our team and a proud moment in our yacht building journey.
Currently, our craftsmen are hard at work laminating the deck, advancing steadily toward the next phase of construction. This vessel represents our second 92-foot hull, and her presence in our building factory is a testament to the growing demand for Selene’s legendary blue-water explorers.
Selene 9206 will undergo RINA certification, ensuring she meets the highest standards of safety, structural integrity, and seaworthiness — credentials that give owners confidence wherever their voyages take them.
As we watch her take shape day by day, we can’t help but imagine the moment she will grace oceans across the globe sea — cutting through swells with the grace and strength that define every Selene.
The Selene 92 Ocean Explorer was developed through a collaboration between Selene Yachts CEO Howard Chen and renowned Dutch designer Guido de Groot. Together, they also renew the styling of S9206.
Her sister yacht, Selene 9202, is currently cruising the waters of the United States. We look forward to launching a new era of Selene large-yacht explorers, and to seeing them cruising alongside the wider Selene fleet across the world’s oceans.
